2023 Governorship Election
The Presidential Elections were held in Nigeria on the 25th of February, and despite hitch-free experiences in some areas, there was a lot of controversy about the final results. One of the prevailing issues was quite simple: experiences at certain polling stations did not match the stories being told afterwards.Â
We founded Retna on the basis of Africans being able to take ownership of the narratives surrounding our continent. A significant part of this is being able to also take ownership of the democratic process.
We want the world to see the true outcome of this governorship election, captured from your lens. As it should be - without tampering or external influence.
